Hm... I know there are times when people let us down, it sucks but we learn to be careful whom we rely on - this discerning makes us stronger. But when someone pretends to be what you need just to have you, and you discover their lie at the worst moment... THAT is where I'd use this. And if I ever see that person again I fully intend to.
Amazing, how such a elegantly simple image (a sharpie, glass, and a note card) can evoke a river of emotion. Just goes to show: it's not quantity, it's quality. Well done my friend.
